Chancellor appointed to C20 Steering Group

Swinburne University of Technology's Chancellor, Bill Scales AO, has been appointed to the Australian Civil Society 20 (C20) Steering Group.Prime Minister Julia Gillard announced the make up of the steering committee, which will be chaired by Reverend Tim Costello AO, in preparation for Australia taking over the G20 Presidency later this year.Mr Scales said he was looking forward to the challenge that his new role would bring."It is a privilege to be included in the Australian C20 Steering Group, and to be given the opportunity to contribute to the G20 on behalf of the higher education sector," Mr Scales said.
